December is here and the holiday countdown is on! Our brand new holiday issue of Grate. Pair. Share. is full of festive ways to celebrate with Wisconsin cheese all month long, and into the New Year.
Our cover recipe is one of three decorative cheese boards that add a dose of colorful fun and wonderful flavor to your holiday table. This wreath design is so easy to put together and sure to be a hit.
Start with sprigs of fresh rosemary for greenery and add plenty of Wisconsin marinated mozzarella and provolone cheese. Fill out your wreath with fresh cherry tomatoes, green and black olives and tiny Sweety Drop peppers. (Look for these on your grocery store’s olive bar. Roasted red peppers or Peppadews will also work.)
Servings: 8
Ingredients:
8-10 sprigs fresh rosemary
1 container (8 ounces) Wisconsin marinated fresh mozzarella cheese
8 ounces Wisconsin aged provolone cheese
10 ounces cherry tomatoes
6-8 ounces olives (black, green or mixed)
3 ounces Sweety Drop miniature peppers (roasted red peppers or Peppadews will also work)
Directions:
Arrange rosemary in circular wreath shape on serving board.
Top with cheeses, tomatoes, olives and peppers. Serve immediately.
